                                                        興建中的本港最高建築物尖沙咀環球貿易廣場，昨午發生六死恐怖工業意外，六名地盤雜工，在三十樓客[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽內一個木製臨時[url=http://classified.on.cc/index.html?cid=-3]工作[/url]台上，清理大堆建築廢料時，木板疑不勝負荷突然折斷，六人連人帶泥頭直墮十樓槽底，被泥頭雜物掩埋，人疊人慘死，消防員迅速救出三人送院，其餘三人則要消防員進入狹窄[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽小心挖掘，經五小時後始救出，惜全部返魂乏術。事發後肇事地盤即時停工，當局正徹查意外原因。               
                                                                                        魂斷槽底的六名男雜工，分別姓蔡（四十五歲）、姓許（四十六歲）、姓王（四十歲）、姓丁（四十四歲）、姓許（四十七歲）及姓林（三十四歲）。現場為柯士甸道西一號環球貿易廣場，共一百一十八層高，為本港最高建築物，該大廈高層仍在興建中，但部分建成樓層已陸續入伙。

              [/td]                                            [/tr][tr]                                          [/tr]                [/table]                                                                                                                                                    泥頭如雨下掩埋                消息稱，地盤判頭趁周日大部分公司休息，不會受到開工噪音騷擾，遂安排雜工清理三十樓堆積的建築廢料及泥頭。消息稱，工人在三十樓的兩公尺乘三公尺[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽內，以木板搭起臨時[url=http://classified.on.cc/index.html?cid=-3]工作[/url]台，在底部開洞，方便將泥頭垃圾倒至槽底。
                                                                                                                                                                    昨午約一時四十分，當六名工人同時站在[url=http://classified.on.cc/index.html?cid=-3]工作[/url]台上處理泥頭時，[url=http://classified.on.cc/index.html?cid=-3]工作[/url]台底木板疑不勝負荷突塌陷，六人猝不及防連同雜物墮下，跌在十樓[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽底，由於槽底原已堆積大量雜物，形成逾六公尺高小山丘，六名工人飛墮雜物堆中被掩埋，工友發現大驚報警。
                                                                                                                                                                    警方及消防員接報到場，發現事態嚴重，立即進入[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽搶救，首先救出三名雜工，將他們送院，惟三人已陷入昏迷，奄奄一息，搶救後證實不治。
                                                                                                                                                                    至於仍被困[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽底的三名工人，由於現場環境狹窄，消防搜救極度困難，特召來消防特種搜救隊協助，多名消防員先後游繩進入[img]http://orientaldaily.on.cc/font/fcb9_5nbk.gif[/img]槽，用生命探測器確定事主位置僅能用簡單的鐵鏟等工具，助徒手挖掘，至事發近兩小時多後，再將其中兩人救出，惟經醫院派出到場協助的醫生檢查，證實已當場死亡。

                                                                                                                                                                    多名死者家屬聞訊趕到醫院，難抵傷痛，哭得死去活來，其中一老婦老淚縱橫哭叫：「叫住星期日唔好開工！」有仍然被困雜工的家屬，在醫院找不到傷者，心急如焚趕往肇事現場了解。
                                                                                                                                                                    期間，曾蔭權、勞工及福利局局長張建宗、發展局局長林鄭月娥及新鴻基地產副主席郭炳江到場了解。
